If you have an ozonator installed in your spa, how do you know if it is producing an effective amount ozone ?

Traditionally ALL ozonators should be replaced at least every 2 years but this brand new kit will take the guesswork and calendar watching out of the -

"Do I need to replace my ozonator" ?

Research indicates that up to 60% of home spa ozonators are either producing insufficient ozone, or none at all. If test shows no ozone output (test media remains blue in color) the test may be used again within 1 year.

Takes just 30 seconds - 3 Easy steps.

1 : Power off spa and insert testing unit into ozonator's output tubing.

(Follow the instructions once placed inside the tubing)

2 : Resume power and operate ozonator for 30 seconds.

3 : Observe results.

Blue test media turns white if sufficient ozone is present.

Kit contains: 1 ozone detection ampule with test media, clear connection tubing, and complete instructions.

Works with both types of ozonators : Corona Discharge and Ultra Violet.

This will test for ozone immediately after leaving the device.

Important note : You should be reminded that not all spas run their ozone 24 hours a day. You may well find that your ozonator will only be activated when the spa is filtering for example so it will be best to use the test during this time, unless you know for sure that your spa and it's system is constantly ozonating, ie : fitted with a separate circulation pump/system.
